The Pectel SQ6 sets the benchmark for high performance engine management systems. Its unique strength lies in it being hugely powerful yet easy to map, using a powerful MPC565 processor coupled to a FPGA that handles all angle-based operations. The end result is that the main processor can run more advanced algorithms giving better transient control, which in turn gives the driver greater feel and feedback.
Designed to be robust, the SQ6 has reverse-battery, over-voltage and load dump protection built in as standard. Sensor supply and signal ground pins are also protected against shorts to battery positive and negative.
The SQ6 is capable of fully sequential fuelling on normally aspirated, turbo and supercharged engines, from one to twelve cylinders. It has fly-by-wire capability, catering for both stepper and DC motors. Put all of this functionality in one small lightweight box and you have an ECU capable of working with almost any combination of coil, injector, OEM sensor and actuator.
Our all-new crank and camshaft pattern recognition system allows the SQ6 to be used with virtually any OEM timing wheel. This sophisticated pattern recognition algorithm also facilitates synchronisation during slow and uneven cranking conditions.

The Pectel SQ6M is our highly successful motorsport ECU used in many OEM and privately run championship winning applications. It has Deutsch Autosport connectors and advanced internal logging of 4MB and 2000 samples/sec plus a logbook. Standard functionality is available for traction and launch control, pitlane speed limit, closed loop lambda, VVT (e.g. VTEC or VANOS), expanded logging memory, fly-by-wire and dual lambda sensors at no extra cost!
Additional option is the very advanced onboard capability to control paddle shift systems which has outrun the competition in professional series such as Champcar and VdeV. Comes as standard with 12 injectors and 8 coil outputs. (The SQ6M12 is available for 10 and 12 cyl applications).
Features include 12 configurable injector drivers combined with eight IGBT ignition outputs AND eight logic level coil driving outputs make this ECU capable of fully sequential fuelling on normally aspirated, turbo and supercharged engines upto twelve cylinders. Fly-by-wire capability is included, with Stepper and DC motors catered for. Put all of this functionality in one small light box and you have an ECU capable of working with almost any combination of coil, injector, OEM sensor and actuator.

Upgraded from the SQ6M, the SQ6M12 has been designed for fully sequential ignition and fuelling on normally aspirated, turbo and supercharged engines specifically of 10 and 12 cylinders.
Having twelve configurable injector drivers combined with twelve IGBT (amplified) ignition outputs AND four logic level coil driving outputs make this ECU suited to applications such as Sports Cars.
Customers have had great success with the high output fly-by-wire BMW V10, Aston Martin V12 and Dodge V10 to name a few.

The Omega dash is one of a range of Pi Research dashes that are designed to replace the normal set of analogue instruments in a race car. The Omega dash has an LCD that can be used to display channel values from on-vehicle sensors, supported Engine Control Units (ECUs), and Pi Delta or Pi Sigma systems.
When used as part of a Pi Delta or Sigma system, the Omega dash can be used with a number of Satellite modules. The Omega dash contains circuitry to drive and power up to eight Satellite modules connected together in a ‘daisy chain’. The Satellite module range consists of an Alarm module, a Gear/shift light module, a 5 digit 7-segment LED Numeric display module and a 5 digit 7–segment LCD Numeric display module. A dual colour blue/red LED back-light is fitted to the Omega dash. This illuminates the Omega dash display, and improves contrast in low light conditions.

The following shows a Gen3 1050whp TT Viper with and without the
traction control operative. Green is rear tires, teal is front,
and yellow is allowable slip % (allowable slip % is cockpit adjustable
with a small dial).
Without Traction Control Enabled

In the above image, you can see the rear tires spinning (green) by
the faster rotation compared to the front tires (teal).
With Traction Control Enabled

In the above image, with the PecTel controlling the amount of
allowable slip of the rear tires, you can see the rear tires (green) and
front tires (teal) are remaining close to the same speed which
means little to no tire "slippage/spinning".
